Re: December Desktops

I'll post my Vista one when I get home.
Pretty boring, just a standard Windows one with a few programs, and World Of Warcraft Grin
Not really customised it at all.
Work one is pretty cluttered and full of icons (shows you what my organisation is like).
Aside from keeping company stuff confidential, a few of the file names break the swear filter .. so I won't post that.
Someone did a search of the source code once for various profanities, and my comments had quite a lot of matches Smiley

Hi All
I saw this in another forum but thought that we could do it here.  The idea is that every month someone starts a thread and people post their desktop in it!   Wink
Here is my desktop.

Nice idea Gary but noticed you have old versions of Adobe Reader and AVG Wink
My desktop has ever changing pictures which I save in webshots.

Re: December Desktops

Make sure you save it as a JPG file, and then when you are creating your post, click the 'Additional Options' link below the box where you type your message.
There is an option to attach an image, simply click the 'browse' button, then locate the image where you saved it.
Hopefully thats about right, but its from memory, so you might need to interpret as you go along.

Re: December Desktops

Easier than what?
You still have to attach the JPG to the post don't you?

Easier than opening the program, pasting it in and then saving it.
It produces a jpg file immediately and you can select all or part of the screen for the picture
I might add I use Photoshop CS2 and that is even worse.
Open Photoshop - wait 30 secs for it to respond (Vista and CS2 don't like each other)
Press Ctrl N for a new window
Press Ctrl V to paste in the screenshot
Select Save for Web then OK
Save
