Dark side of Moon

I'm not very good at keeping up with Chit Chat these days, but I don't recall anybody posting this subject matter already, but if they have I apologise.
From 37,000,000 miles out NASA has published these wonderful photo's of the Moon transiting the Earth. They were published in a number of newspapers last week.

looks fake to me, some kind of cgi.

Not sure what the rational of producing a fake is, its not as if NASA is short of money and probably doesn't need the income from publishing rights.
But, some will find a conspiracy in anything I suppose.

But in my defence I did put a question mark after the sentence so it was really put as a question rather than a statement of fact so would ask you take this into consideration before passing sentence.

@Petlew, thanks for posting. It started an argument in our house.  Was the image taken from a Lagrange Point  (L1).
