Daffodils early,  17 December ....
Sprouting about 3" high at the moment !

Very worrying these unseasonably warm temperatures, one of our neighbors farms a couple of hundred free range turkeys for Christmas. He normally starts slaughtering on or around the 15th December then lets the birds hang for 10 days in an outbuilding.
Temperatures are normally around freezing which prevents the development of e coli and other bacterium (which among other things can spoil the taste).
This year he has had to temporary install cooling facilities.

Checking some information from 2014 diary, I noted that at the same time last year, the Daffodils were also 3" high... !
