Re: Cricket

That was bloody amazing, I thought 50 runs from 3 overs with 7 wickets down, not even the Aussies can do that, I'll have some supper.  I get back to the machine and the buggers have won.  If England aren't cowed by that they're not human.

Re: Cricket

@SRD  England have played some classy confident cricket in this tournament; I don't think they'll be running scared

Re: Cricket

Back on topic (sorry), on the text coverage on Auntie they're saying it's the most exciting finish on any kind of cricket ever, what short memories they have, my hall floor still shows the groove of my pacing when Lee and Kasprowicz were holding off the English bowlers (after a sterling effort by Shane Warne) and creeping ever nearer to the win that would have made so much difference to the 2005 Ashes series.

Re: Cricket

Just before we get into all the excitement about how many the Aussies are going to thrash us by - What have Danish Kaneria and Mervyn Westfield been up to?.  You don't suppose the tales of all Essex men being wide boys are true do you?  Wink

Re: Cricket

Hey randpwar, have you just typed Watson?  If so, keep typing, although your efforts didn't help Pakistan in the end did they?

Re: Cricket

Did I say that this match was going to be more about who was going to take wickets than who was going to score runs?
And there goes another one.
