On a satellite weather pic, received this morning, I notice that ALL of Canada, is underneath an area of rain, an that 90% of the USA is under cloud, with reports of SNOW in SOUTH CAROLINA.. and then I see this headline and pics
As most of the weather systems we get, move across the atlantic towards us, ( depending on the Jet Stream route ).. it is possible we could be getting some of this weather in the next 7 to 10 days..
Perhaps we better start stocking up on foodstuffs that can be frozen, and emergency power supplies, spare gas canisters for the camping cooker unit you need to buy.... just in case.. etc etc..

Looking at Weather Underground's predictions for the coming week, bit of snow on the weekend, warming up again the following week...
No snowmageddon on the cards...

Not to worry, the Sun has it covered.

I'd like to see their source for their "predictions", cos so far none of the rags have accurately predicted weather, well, ever...

They are predicting a chilly reception to Brexit in Europe, followed by a mass culling of our livestock in the summer and consequent bbq's. We don't expect to be able to import animal feed for the Winter. So next Christmas will be very dismal.

So as part of brexit, nobody will have a freezer then to keep animal products frozen in?

Yes - but we won't be able to buy electricity over the interconnector from France, Netherlands and Ireland.

But even then, we only import a few GWs here and there, so not really an issue, just have to tell the nuts to stop blocking building new power stations and we'll be reet...

Well as we get set to face the oncoming frost in the north west corner of Europe, how about a bit of Schadenfreude - we deserve it!

Looks like we are in for an arctic blast towards the end of the week.
Not looking forward to it at all. Must dig my snow shovel out!

Not that I'm ever desperate enough to take the car out when the snow hits (unlike those Chelsea tractor owners ) - along with that warm coat I always make sure that if and when I do go out I have a shovel stashed in the boot along with a nice warm blanket on the back seat. Oh, and that mobile phone - thank heavens for those eh?
