Confession time...

I have a dreadful confession that I struggle to find the right words to write...

I like ice-cold baked beans (Heinz of course)

My favourite way to cook them is a couple of heaped desert spoons of beans added with an equal amount of frozen peas, no salt or seasoning, no water, just heat gently, stirring regularly until the peas are hot. The peas cook in the tomato sauce...very nice.

Anyone else like to disclose a deep dark secret?

Yeah but a cat will also lick its own 'teatowel holder' to clean it. Buck2

Even if a cat had licked it clean, I'd never touch a piece of toast previously contaminated by Marmite.

Re: Confession time...

I'm confused by the original post ! ?

Does @petlew like the baked beans "ice-cold", or cooked ? - or are those two separate favourites ?

Personally I like cold Tesco value baked beans, with a tablespoon of Haywards Piccalilli stirred though it.
