That sure is a bit worrying.  Undecided  Especially, as the yanks don`t seem to have come up with any pesticide to get rid of the varmints. Think I`ll keep my electronic stuff in a plastic bag if they turn up here ! Roll eyes

That is a bit difficult with mains cables and the television. And are you going to use your computer inside the bag? I an not sure that a keyboard would work very well through the bag.

Re: Computer Eating Alien Ants - from the Times (paper copy)

Just cover the garden and outside of the house with sticky stuff, that'll stop them  Smiley

What sort of sticky stuff? Roll eyes Cheesy
Perhaps a wide ring of semolina pudding, or hot chilli tomato sauce, might just keep them on the outside, but I don`t think a ring of treacle would be any good ! Undecided

How about a ring of unwanted electrical items. It might keep them busy for a while and it could be considered as recycling.

Sounds good..... go one step further, it would draw them in for miles around, and then you could set fire to the lot to eliminate the little gits  Cheesy    ..... not very environmentally friendly due to the smoke, but could be a soulution to the ant problem! Roll eyes

if you cover it in sticky petroleum jelly they couldn't run away and stick it in an incinerator we could get some free electricity out of the little [pre-censored]

Get rid of the pet cat/dog, buy an Anteater instead, wouldn't cost the earth to feed, no need to take it for long walks either!!
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
