Climate change

I'm sure a lot of those interested in whether humans are causing climate change will be very interested in the latest report from one of the leading sceptics: Prof Richard Muller of the Berkeley Earth Project.

Re: Climate change

First off he was never a leading sceptic
Second I suggest reading here for a more balanced position

http://judithcurry.com/2012/07/30/observation-based-attribution/
and for a more direct summary from one of the leading warmist bloggers

Re: Climate change

Knew you couldn't resit. When 99,999 scientists all agree that humans cause warming you'll still be pointing the to the sole scientist who disagrees!

Re: Climate change

I still like George Carlin's take on the subject. I'd link but he swears Lips are sealed

Re: Climate change

At least I can sleep safely at night knowing the government will raise taxes to help it.
Like all of the other tax rises, I've noticed the difference each time.

What is the basis for that statement or is it just arm waving
Just to be clear I agree that CO2 and other human activities cause warming I just don't believe the alarmist statements which are all based on the models predicting a high climate sensitivity to increases in CO2 levels
If you want to read a more balanced view on the effects of human activity I suggest this blog http://pielkeclimatesci.wordpress.com/
I was objecting to your opening statement

as he isn't and never was. The only bit he was sceptical about was the hockey stick graph which has been thoroughly discredited.
Just noticed this http://www.populartechnology.net/2012/06/truth-about-richard-muller.html which covers the same point
