Christmas Usage 2008

Anyone read this?:
http://community.plus.net/blog/2008/12/30/christmas-usage-2008-the-sales-attract-the-internet-users/
I don't suppose that it is any real problem to most of us, and I realise that ISPs know what we're looking at on the web, but it feels to me a tad like 'big brother is watching you'.
It was just one of those instinctive feelings that one gets from time to time and probably nothing to be bothered about. What do others think?

Thank you for that Pierre - it helps to know that I am not alone in this feeling of unease.

Re: Christmas Usage 2008

I do believe that ISPs are required by law to web usage records for their customers so it is probably possible to draw out aggregated stats from this system.

Re: Christmas Usage 2008

Perhaps Dave Tomlinson could explain how the stats are gathered?
(Thanks for the clip oldjim).
