Chevy Chase

No, no it's not a "He's snuffed it" thread so don't worry lol.

No it's just a heads up that sainsburys have the christmas vacation for £3 at the moment. Christmas wouldn't be christmas without that film and as funny christmas films go it has to be one of the best! Chevy is one of the finest american film comedians in history.

Since the once legendary ITV won't bother making the effort anymore it's down to the DVD collectors to DIY it these days it seems.

Any other good recommendations out there?

I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Not to watch anything with Chevy Chase in it? Wink

Never found him that funny to be honest although glad to hear he's not snuffed it.

I hope to finally get round to watching It's A Wonderful Life this Christmas.

Hogfather - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0765458/

or

Going Postal - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1219817/

Christmas Carol - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104940/

if you must have Chevy Chase then

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097958/fullcredits/

Re: Chevy Chase

Ah yes, the Muppets brilliant in just about anything, but Christmas Carol for me will always be the film version I first watched in the early 60s starring Alastair Sim which was I think the best version ever made.

Hah! How could you say that? The man is awesome!

I'm planning to buy "Spies like us" next which also has Dan Akroyd in it.
