Re: Cctv at home, captures burglars surprise.

So he thought he would remove the evidence, by taking the CCTV EH!!!
& That was after he locked himself into the property

No point in taking the camera. Where are the images stored? Yjry seem to have been stored at the son's home. Hope the Police catch the burglar Smiley

I would of thought he would of looked for a computer or laptop, or other possible recording device for the camera

I don't think that would have done him any good. According to the article the son was viewing the footage from a remote location.

But he wouldn't of known that at the time, thus the thinking he would of @least looked for some sort of recording device

That happened close to where I used to work.
I think he actually unlocked the door - first rule of burglary is to make sure you have as many exit paths as possible. If the owner comes through the front door you exit out of the back etc etc.

Afraid not - I've known a few undesirables in my time though Sad
I've always had an interest in security / locks / surveillance etc. I caught my own "intruder" not so long ago on my backup CCTV system. Unfortunately when I went to retrieve the hires video from the low light camera it turned out that the DVR had stopped operating a couple of months before despite sending out reassuring emails that it was still functional .....
