Cat up a Pole

I was just reviewing video shot last night from my security camera and was very surprised to see at about 12:35am what looked like a cat about 1 metre up a nearby telephone pole.
The cat then run up the pole to the top, just out of camera shot.
A few seconds later it reversed back down and just short of the ground the recording ended.
I checked my broadband and phone but thankfully no catastrophes there....everything working.
I've often seen cats running up trees after birds but I've no idea what could have been up that pole to attract the cat.

Re: Cat up a Pole

Just as well there was only one, it could easily have been CAT5 or CAT6!

Re: Cat up a Pole

Maybe this thread needs a pun to cata-pole-t it back up to the top.
