Card Charges

Well this one from the BBC made me laugh.
I wonder if the DVLA will still charge us £2.50 for using a credit card then? Roll eyes

Re: Card Charges

I try to pay by CC, whenever possible, so I get Tesco Clubcard points to spend with Eurotunnel  Smiley
I do, however, check first to make  sure I won't get charged for use as that would cancel out the above benefit.

Re: Card Charges

It means nothing in reality. All the companies will do is add an administartion charge instead of a processing fee and its job done.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: Card Charges

It costs money to process a credit/debit card but a tiny fraction of the fees some companies pay.  I agree that it should be made transparent from the early stages in a transaction.  Where there is no other way to pay then the purchase price should have the fee already built in.

Re: Card Charges

When an organisation makes excessive charges for debit/credit card usage you usually find the same supplier cynicism shown elsewhere in their service. I avoid these snake oil suppliers like the plague even if I have to pay more for my flight.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.
