a plastic pot with some zip ties strapped to it,
and you could be intending to use it for a lot of things from drip catcher to lantern /
just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you

Not this particular one, however we do use another similar one for measuring out washing power, for most washes we just half fill it, having noted the capacity.
And then put that amount into the powder drawer in the machine.
So a very good suggestion, thanks

Well to all intent and purpose it looks like a bucket so as it's not used for liquids then it can only be solids. Having put on my thinking cap is it used to measure dry rice?
