Hi All
Just seen this:

Cameron calls for ISP-level parental censorship tools Save our online nippers from porn and - worse - ads
Prime Minister David Cameron has warned ISPs to be more robust with their plans to provide better tools to help parents censor sexualised content online, or else the government could step in with its own regulation measures.
"The social response is not something we can leave to chance. We need to make sure we hold businesses and regulators to account in a transparent way," said Cameron.
His comments came as the Department for Education published a report today carried out by Mothers' Union CEO Reg Bailey, who issued a raft of recommendations urging British businesses to cut down on the amount of marketing aimed at children through various media outlets including the internet.
Bailey called on ISPs to develop better controls to help parents be more selective about what their children can and can't see online.

This guy should spend more time addressing major problems of the economy going down hill as a result of his, and his cohorts, bringing in draconian cuts to wages and services when prices are rising, instead of diverting attention away from them, by issuing edicts like the one quoted by Midnight Caller....
Even people in the government are now worried that the economy could grind to a halt, through higher taxes, when it is obvious to even a minor celebrity like myself, that if you cut the taxes on goods and services, more people will be able to afford them , thus increasing the amount of tax collected.... (albeit at a lower rate)... d
Telling ISP`s and businesses to stop advertising their goods, (" or we will do something about it") is only a diversion from reality, which , once in power, most politicians seem to do........

Young children should be protected from much of the content on the internet but it is the parents' job.
I've never understood the mentality that allows kids to have access to the internet unsupervised. Is it lazy parenting or do they simply not belive their children will find what's out there?
But you're never going to stop the inquisitive teenager from searching and finding stuff no matter how much you try to stop them.
