Call Centre

Anyone been watching that television program on a call centre ?
Hard to tell if the owners approach to his staff is good or bad, I certainly could not work there but he claims he keeps staff much longer than other call centres ?

I think it is an entertaining programme and the owner, Nev,  is certainly a character.  His HR department must be kept busy I bet Wink
His employees all seem to like Nev's  management style unless there are a lot that the cameras never see.

Although it's funny it also provides 700 people with work and that is a good thing.  Best of luck to him and his workers.  The centre is based in Wales where I imagine work isn't easy to come by especially for unqualified individuals.

Is he not taking a risk that some employee could accuse him of harassment ? I Know he says stuff in a joking way and I guess some may even see him as a Father figure but equally another person could find it embarrassing.
I'm not trying to criticize him as anything that makes this kind of workplace more exciting is a good thing but what he is doing is risky. On the other hand if he had to pay a few thousand out to settle a case of harassment he is unlikely to go bust !

Well we tuned in tonight and were reasonably entertained by it. I think the best bit was the red nissan micra being parked in a bush lol.
On a brighter note Nev is now a quarter of a million down today after a fine for cold calling. As a victim of these ourselves I was rather glad to hear the news - I just hope no-one looses their job because of it.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!
