Bt sport channel for plusnet

Just wondering if any further news on BT sport, and if and when will plusnet be offering this service?

Re: Bt sport channel for plusnet

I normally try the various streams that are available via the Sports Devil plugin on XBMC.
That way I can watch on my telly.
The quality is usually pretty poor though.

Guys, we're happy for you to discuss BT Sport, however giving links to websites that may provide illegal streams is not something I'd be happy with.

Re: Bt sport channel for plusnet

Is plusnet going to offer BT sport.
I mean come on Plusnet is subsidiary of BT we must have at least some features that a BT customer is exclusively to, i.e Free out and about WIFI, an online cloud storage, a free sports channel!
Plusnet I say get your game up and don't be afraid to ask your daddy for help!!

There have been multiple threads about this, at the moment there's nothing we can say.

If PN do come to offer it I hope we who do not want it don't have to pay for it indirectly with increased charges. Oh, wait a minute ...

What are the benefits of being a PlusNet customer?
Free router worth £40 whereas BT customers get a free router worth £109
Slow broadband at peak times BT no slow broadband at peak times
PN no Free WIFI, BT Free WIFI
Can I jump to BT without termination fees? Its like a little brother running away from his big brother to his daddy paying £££ to get away!!

And they have to use that router, i didn't take the free router and prefer to be able to choose my own equipment that suits my needs.

i haven't found this at all, so not sure how you can quantify that.
you want to go ahead and pay for your free extras that's fine.
i don't want to subsidise you though so I'm happy with the cheaper plusnet offer.

Re: Bt sport channel for plusnet

Having been with BT, Talk Talk and numerous other companies over the years I'd rather pay the small premium for their excellent customer support than switch at this stage.
The lack of free WiFi has never been a major problem to me and the router is sufficient for my current requirements and does it's job.

That's what the retail cost would be, not what its worth. The HHs are poor by comparison to similarly priced routers and certainly not 'worth' £109

Not my experience.

If your contract period has ended.
Could you jump ship from BT without charge if you were still in contract with them?

Completely ignores the corporate structure of the BT Group.
You seem to fit the demographic BT Retail is chasing...

Re: Bt sport channel for plusnet

In my case I have experienced slowed down internet at peak times.
I am currently using a home hub 4 it is far the best router I have ever used within budget.
We as plusnet customers don't get any benefits from Plusnet do weHuh Only Broadband and phone.
A lot of companies offer freebies for you to stay with them.
