Bruce Springsteen and the Parking Ticket

Bruce Springsteen played the new Leeds Arena last night and received a parking ticket http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-23447639.
The problem probably arose because parking seems to have been well down the list of priorities when the arena was designed. Grin

Re: Bruce Springsteen and the Parking Ticket

Sounds like another jobsworth Sad
Venues are not designed for parking.  I love the O2 and think it is a great venue but don't try and drive there.  It cost £21 to pre-book a parking space and £28 if you can get one on the night. Valet parking is available for £38.50.

Re: Bruce Springsteen and the Parking Ticket

Sheffield has a large car park and a large overspill area, I've never had a problem parking there. (getting out can be a different matter)
Roadie trucks have their own large area so no parking problems but then it was built out of town unlike the Leeds venue.

I read the thread title and thought
The E Street Band was a much better name.
