Broadband and Openreach

There is an interesting debate going on in The House of Commons currently regarding broadband availability,
Openreach is getting a pasting.
It's on BBC Parliament.

Re: Broadband and Openreach

I think most people have forgotten that BT is no longer a nationalised company. BT is only going to roll out NGA, as part of its commercial rollout, to areas where there will be a return on its investment.
There's a good reason why the likes of Sky/TT/Virgin have no presence at some of these very rural locations.

Re: Broadband and Openreach

It's refreshing to note that many MPs are not familiar with the difference between MB/s and Mb/s.
