British Citizenship

How many "British" people would know the answers to this http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4099770.stm
It would be interesting to know!

Re: British Citizenship

Some of those questions are just plain silly, I tried it earlier (& got 10 right according to them!).
But then I haven't read the book...................

Re: British Citizenship

10 for me - and I still think PG should refer to tea not some silly Cinema rules

Re: British Citizenship

Well it does of course, and that wasn't the only question with more than 1 correct answer - which proves that the book doesn't reflect real life!

Re: British Citizenship

9, although one of the questions is a trick question. PG is both a brand of tea and a cinema rating, so I figure it should be 10. Oh and the answer to question 8 is most definitely C Tongue

Re: British Citizenship

I won by turning around all the questions and asking "According to me, how many did I get right?"

Re: British Citizenship

10 for me as well, but some of the answers choices are ambiguous as mentioned earlier.  For example, in the final question, before employing a solicitor, I would find out how much they charge, AND check they are expert in the area of law I'm interested in.  In my experience, most solicitors know only a very narrow area of law.
