British Blues Quintet

I got dragged to a band a couple of nights ago which is compromised of various members with various successes and group credits to their name. I wasn't really expecting much but when they started playing it blew me away and the person who stole the show for me was the Bassist Colin Hodgkinson, he did some stuff on the bass that I have never heard or seen before.
So for all the musicians on this forum and those that are into their blues, here's a couple of videos of this bassist on YouTube:

(this track he played live at the gig and was amazing)

(Snab's Rag is the song and is an excellent way to show the full potential of the bass as an instrument)

Re: British Blues Quintet

I've seen a spanish guitarist do something similar (but not as good) I'll try and find the video on YouTube and post here.
@pierre-pierre: not really my kind of music, but I recognise his talent, I know someone who will really enjoy his stuff so now I know what to get for their birthday, thanks for sharing  Wink
