Re: Britain Sends a Plane into Space

you missed this last night  its a much better program than Chan 5 gadget show,
its repeated tonight on BBCHD at 20::00 to 20:30 or if you have freesat chan 960 (BBC1 Scotland) tomorrow 19:00 to 19:30
TECHNOLOGY: Wallace and Gromit's World of Invention  On: BBC 1
Date: Wednesday 10th November 2010 (Already shown)
Time: 19:30 to 20:00 (30 minutes long)
Reach for the Sky.
Wallace and Gromit explore the mysteries behind man's fascination with flight, from homemade space rockets in Manchester to jetpacks in the UK. There is also a look at some planes that unfortunately do not fly in another Contraption Countdown. On location in the USA, the team explore the most advanced flexible spacesuits being developed by NASA, which are designed to allow wearers to perform cartwheels on Mars, and in Germany they look at the life of Gustav Mesmer.

Re: Britain Sends a Plane into Space

Terence Bordelon did this years ago with a weather balloon and a camera. He's since worked for the US Navy and various other places as he's one of the leading civilian experts in the remote telemetry field.

He also bugged his dads phone a the age of 10 or 11 and proved to his mum that his dad was cheating.. Very smart fella. Also made his own flight navigational software, dials, dash etc etc.

Re: Britain Sends a Plane into Space

I've had LOTS of ideas which I could happily do as part of my future.
What I lack is the opportunity. I always wanted to be an inventor... create new things... world changing things...
Sadly however the world will have to go without some of my ideas as the world clearly doesn't care about anything more than money.
