Books on Disk (or tape)

Just spent a couple of days updating a database, job I dislike, takes 2-3 days every couple of months, gets mind numbing after 20 minutes.
Put a ‘Book on disk’ on the CD Player (borrowed from the library).
I was rather disappointed that I ran out of work before the Disks ended.
This was a Robert Heinlien story; The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.
A Sci-Fi Parody of the American independence struggle with some wonderful Churchill quotes. It’s about a computer engineer and a computer who mastermind a revolution………
I’d read the book, many years ago, forgotten how brilliant the story line was, with fast paced narrative and clever dialogue.
Really recommend it.

Re: Books on Disk (or tape)

I used to listen to books on disk (or mp3) on my way to work (1+ hrs each way, and not much traffic for 90% of it), and I love Heinlien. Friday I think is my favorite book of his.
