Boil in the Bag pigeon

Boil in the Bag pigeon

PRISONERS have reportedly come up with their own recipe of boiled pigeon while languishing in their cells.
Lags who are bored of what grub they're served every day are said to have come up with the inventive recipe,
that can be prepared and cooked all in the comfort of their cells.

Re: Boil in the Bag pigeon

I think I'd rather keep the pigeon as a pet quite frankly!
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: Boil in the Bag pigeon

When I was a kid in my parents pub our next door neighbour was an undertakers and he had a a pigeon loft.
Any unsuccessful birds had their necks pulled and we were often given them for the pot.
My mum would de feather them and gut them and boil them in the pot in gravy.
My dad and I would eat two each per sitting

Re: Boil in the Bag pigeon

Are they saying that a prison razor can be adapted to be used as a knife sufficient to be able to butcher a pigeon ?
That would suggest to me that either this story needs to be submitted to 'Mythbusters',  or that there needs to be a review of prison razors as a potential source of material for making weapons.

Re: Boil in the Bag pigeon

You know G Wing might be onto something there. Mad mayor Boris J. is keen to promote trade with China and there's loads of  pigeons in London... well it's no different in concept from boil in the bag horse, which we call Tesco finest Lasagne.

I just noticed those .mp domain names under your post - you're obviously not in the Northern Mariana Islands?

Re: Boil in the Bag pigeon

Under what circumstances would a toaster allegedly from the kitchen be that wet ?
If anyone was trying to free a mouse from a toaster, I can't imagine how submerging the toaster and mouse would help !
To me that picture looks like a mouse trapped in a toaster that was dumped in someones garden on a rainy day, therefore making the accompanying story a complete fabrication.
