Blizzard in the US

A state of emergency has been declared in 5 States in the US as blizzard conditions moved in and over two feet of snow has fallen in some areas.  5 people are reported to have been killed. Many of the areas are just getting over the effects of Hurricane Sandy.

That is a snow storm, not what we get here.  They get over a foot and grind to a halt, we get an inch or 2 and its panic buying.

Watching the forecast on BBC News 24 earlier it looks like us in far Eat tKent will not get too much of the white stuff this time round.

I had planned on getting out about with the camera during the last bout of snow but was ill and couldn't so that would cover my disappointment.

looks like we may be getting some of America's weather over here Sad We have heavy snow here in Essex.  Just been out to grit my driveway, path and road.
