Re: Best Broadband?

I think it's horses for courses and there is no "best".
There are several market leaders in somewhat different markets with different offerings.
But there's an awful lot of mediocrity and far too much dross.
So, I for one won't be voting as the question is far too vague.  Cool

Re: Best Broadband?

Spot on HP!
Plusnet is definitely best for me, but it wouldn't be for many, for various reasons. Therefore unable to vote.  Cool

Re: Best Broadband?

My synch 8128

Re: Best Broadband?

i think 02 is best but i joined with plusnet because 02 is unlimited usage and plusnet option 2 is only 15gb and more money. they should make it unlimited usage that will be great

Re: Best Broadband?

Hate to say it but there's no such thing as unlimited.
I think (but do not know) that O2 are probably ploughing a bit back in from the mobile phone operation to pay for the unlimited usage.
Networks have to be paid for so I think the future will be metered bandiwdth for all ISPs

Re: Best Broadband?

Presumably almost everyone here thinks that Plusnet is best overall for themselves or else they would be using a different ISP.

Re: Best Broadband?

Should have put the word in quotes geewizz.
I beleive they have a fair usage policy but am not sure how many heavy users they have.
One of my colleagues has been booted from three ISPs for excessive usage (as he runs P2P 24/7 in both the upstream and downstream direction) but as far I know he hasn't yet been booted from O2 but he is an iPhone fan so O2 will be making a good bit of cash from him.

I do hope amir852 takes time out to browse the forum taking note of posting style and doesn't take this light-hearted criticism too much to heart.
