Bargains? Aria 'PRIMETIME'.

For bargain hunters out there (can't vouch for how good any of these 'specials' are, just a 'heads-up').

Aria have been good in the past, not used them for a while though, the delivery charge always killed any bargain I wanted from them.

Re: Bargains? Aria 'PRIMETIME'.

Scan have regular specials too but the price differences aren't usually significant
Note - I have free postage from Scan but I still don't buy some things from them because of their returns policy
Latest examples
Motherboard and CPU - from Amazon as any problems there is an automatic no quibble returns policy as compared to http://forums.hexus.net/scan-care-hexus/342080-rights-under-rma.html
Monitor - from Amazon - on arrival it had two dead pixels in the middle of the screen - immediate return no quibble and once it was recorded as being picked up by DPD they issued a credit note on my card. Actually I ordered a replacement at the same time (same model) and the pickup and delivery were at the same time

Re: Bargains? Aria 'PRIMETIME'.

ebuyer do daily deals and there normally a decent chunk off the price (if you get on the mailing list they often add a free delivery token to your account as well) aria had some decent price reductions and no doubt anyone buying a few items would of benefited greatly from what they were offering yesterday (saw a 512gb ssd for under £150) but personally I didn't see anything I wanted on there /
just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you

Re: Bargains? Aria 'PRIMETIME'.

A good starting point for PC bits is https://uk.pcpartpicker.com as they list the prices across a wide range of sellers (including amazon, scan, ebuyer, dabs, aria etc).
The filter and search system is very good and the prices updated daily so mostly accurate.
