Back in Space

A launch of a rocket is due today from Kennedy Space Centre.

'SpaceX will attempt to pull off the world's first successful triple rocket landing during the company's first commercial Falcon Heavy flight mission today (April 10), and you can watch it all live online. '

We were hoping to drive over to see the launch but haven't made it. Hoping to see it in the evening sky as it takes off.

The launch has already been delayed but tonight's launch looks set to go. The time window ends at 8.32pm (EDT) and they are hoping for lift off at 8pm (EDT).

Watch it here:  SpaceX Launch

Re: Back in Space

Some great links on there as well, including one about that black hole image being presented by the event horizon imaging team. We live in fascinating times that's for sure.

Re: Back in Space

The launch has been postponed until tomorrow because of high winds.

We were seeing some great pics of the black hole on TV tonight. I'll try and find them and post them.

Re: Back in Space

This looks great, it's behind a paywall but you should be able to see the article OK.

Just in case that doesn't work then here's one I made earlier.
