BT - Share Price Collapse

BT are included in the list of FT100 Failing Five companies the others being Lloyds Bank, Sainsbury's, Vodafone and BP whose share price has dropped over 80% in the last few years. BT have asked their advisors for a strategy to ward off an unwelcome taleover.

As BT own most of the UK telecoms infrastructure (and effectively fixes prices for others)  I cannot see this being allowed but it does seem that as a monopoly utility the consequences either way will be increased prices with no major improvement in value. Should we ever get 5G will anyone need a phone line anymore?

Re: BT - Share Price Collapse

I'm sure Huawei would be happy to replace BT.
