BT Openreach and the Post Office

BT Openreach and the Post Office are now using the same failed delivery card to save money.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry you were allegedly unavailable to receive delivery of your parcel / Fibre Broadband.
We have left / installed your parcel / Fibre Broadband at your neighbour's house number [  ].
You can collect it from / connect to it there.
This policy has been put in place to minimise delays in the delivery / installation of your order.

Re: BT Openreach and the Post Office

I've not had any dealings with BT Openreach but I have with the post office.  I have always found them accommodating when delivering packages to me if I am not in.  A note on my front door for the postman to see and generally the package is left where I had requested it.

And also lets "undesirables" know you are not at home..... presumably, you have a " secret location", that only you and the postie knows.... or do you put the (non) secret  location on your note as well  Roll eyes
