Re: BREXIT

@ffox

The EU is a democracy ?

You cannot be serious  !

Germany and France along with a few other more wealthy members often meet to decide what they want and have applied pressure to other member states to agree on those changes.

Remember how Cameron was cold shouldered when he tried to veto some change.

Also look at Poland and several other EU states who want massive changes to the EU so power is no longer centralised but left to individual states.

Do not make the mistake that everyone living in EU countries are happy with the way things are, they want major changes as they think there is a future in a revamped EU, we do not hence the decision to leave.

Re: BREXIT

@RobC

So will you be remaining in the UK once we leave ?

I cannot understand how so many people are trying to get into this country or wanting citizenship (Which costs a lot of money) if things are going to be so bad and remember many have been in europe first, how come they want come here ?

Yes, rule and law biased in favour of who wrote them.

Re: BREXIT

Clearly some people including MP's need to buy a dictionary and look up what the word, LEAVE. Actually means.

Supported evidence is very relevant.

No, @RobC It is NOT evidence, for now it is information based on assumption. For it to be evidential this can only be true after the fact, and if you cannot understand that then there is nothing I can do.

@Anonymous You haven't jumped in front of a speeding lorry yet, so you have no proof that doing so wouldn't result in Brexit .....

Unfortunately @Anonymous , you're banging your head against a brick wall.  Wink

Whilst leavers are willing to challenge the situation with the attitude "We've tried this and don't like it, let's have a change", the remoaners are too set in their ways, too blind to see the wood for the trees, and are just happy to take more of the same old  s***.

Indeed they can @Luzern but how hypocritical would that be for a Labour Government when they were the main instigators in getting the law enacted!

@Anonymous  Though I understand your position, IMO because it would be a new parliament all things would be new, so any member would not be hypocritical for changing mind. The underlying principle of our parliamentary system, as I have said before is that MPs are for a constituency, (once party alliances were not shown), parties are a convenience with the defect party machines stifle independent thought for the keeping in favour.

In extreme cases those conveniences should be illuminated at night like the one down the high road.Roll_eyesFunny

@RobPN  I can't help feeling, if one side is banging its head against a brick wall, the other is banging its against a concrete one. Both need some humility.Sad
