BBC Cheapskate Programming.....

So... if you want to watch BBC , because lots of people are still loyal to the "old lady" ...  Roll eyes
you can watch 2.5 hours of Motor ( nearly put Moron) Racing on BBC1 followed by  2.5 hours of Rugby  or...

you can go to BBC2 and watch..... "Some mothers do ave em" ..... followed by  "Three up, Two down"... followed by .... "Hi de Hi".....
wow... that must have saved a fortune... or not.... perhaps they haven`t got the money for "proper" programmes cos they spent it all on 5 hours of sport for a sunday afternoon....
Yeah, I know there are other channels... but they are not much better....
Personally, I don`t watch telly .... except for Emmerdale...  Cheesy

Re: BBC Cheapskate Programming.....

With so many people getting bumped off in these soap opera's I surprised there is anyone left in them.

At least F1 doesn't knock "normal" programming off several nights a week, like the inflated pigs bladder that some over paid mummies boys chase around a green field!!

Re: BBC Cheapskate Programming.....

I watch youtube more than I watch TV these days, and any TV I do watch I usually stream because broadcasting it doesn't gel with my sleep disorder most of the time, but, youtube's more fun because it's full of non-PC opinion and entertainment... Grin

Re: BBC Cheapskate Programming.....

If we're talking cheapskate, surely the biggest cons are:
(a) tired links reminding us we're on bbc1 or whatever,
(b) endlessly repeated (and often incomprehensible) trailers,
(c) progs which tell you what you're going to see in the next ½hr,  then
(d) at the end tell you what's coming up next time.
I reckon they save at least 5mins of expensive camera/production work in most ½hr progs.

Most likely the same person that also decided that Gary Anderson was no longer wanted as a technical expert.
