Good to see Avatar 2 is in production and that Avatar 3 and Avatar 4 are pencilled in for later in this decade.
I for one found Avatar absolutely mind blowing and can't wait for the sequel.

Re: Avatar

I have to agree with dvorak. Not many films will I actually turn off but after 30 minutes I decided enough was enough.
I usually like most of James Cameron's films except, of course, Titanic Wink

Re: Avatar

I loved the film apart from the corny "unobtainium" and the obvious references to the US Army and politicians.

Re: Avatar

The film was entertaining and brought home the fact that much of today's films are no more than sophisticated cartoons.

Re: Avatar

the storyline was pants /predictable repeat of hundreds of other cheap sci-fi productions, the special effects were epic and some of the stuff was utterly mind blowing but thye did put a neat twist in at the end that left you wanting to see the sequel just as all good plotlines should.
those of your who failed to make it all the way through missed out on some epic effects, I seriously wanted a go at some of those toys they demonstrate especially the dragon thing >>>>>>

+1!
I thought the graphics were good but i thought the plot was pretty rubbish if i'm honest and it went on for far too long.

I think it was more a showcase for technology than script writing and for that alone I loved it Cool

So how did you explain to the kids the scene where the two lead characters were bonking in the woods? Grin
