As there is no Droid software thread, Another Bluetooth related question

As many knows I asked a question for Bluetooth > Skype > Windows OS
This is for Android > TTS document reader > Bluetooth Headset (Free
As we all know there are more than 1 would imagine, to sift through in the app store and their reviews are not always the best to go by
I dont need all the bells & whistles just a simple TTS > Bluetooth that will typically read

  • PDF

  • Word

  • Epub

  • Excel

  • Notepad

  • URLs

And any other office documents that may crop up

Re: As there is no Droid software thread, Another Bluetooth related question

I have come across
@Voice Aloud Reader (Their main site) says
Quote
* Pause/resume speech as needed with wired or Bluetooth headset buttons, plus click Next/Previous buttons to jump by sentence, long-click to switch to the next/previous article on a list.

@Voice Aloud Reader Google play
Free Android App - Now with PDF support!
Current version number: 4.4.4
I have installed it and yet to figure out how to use it with bluetooth on android 4.2.2
If anyone knows how to get it to work with bluetooth can they please advise how it is done Wink
Why cant these apps be more user friendly ?Huh

1st thing would be make sure the bluetooth headset is connected to the tablet. None of mine have bt support oob.
Then it is usually the mixer that determines what is sent where, with skype etc you use the control panel to select the headset rather than the built in ones.
No idea about this s/w as I haven't used it.

The BT / HS is connected and works in call Wink
Have not located any settings to dedicate either BT > HS / SPKR

Re: As there is no Droid software thread, Another Bluetooth related question

A big thank you HB Smiley
It works well so far however it took a bit of faffing about to get it to work,
I suggest all apps you want to assign are closed prior opening Apps Launcher / Message Reader
As I still had some running in the background I couldn't get it to work until I closed all apps Smiley
So far I have tested it with
Tune in radio
Voxdox TTS
@Voice Aloud Reader TTS
Google Play Music
Google Text to Speech
I think it is most likely the cheap BT / HS since the volume seems a little low of full volume
