Aretha Franklin - The Queen of Soul - has died of cancer at the age of 76.
Sad news and a major loss to music. One of the great female voices.

If I were a religious person I'd say a little prayer for her.

A wonderful voice. I read yesterday that she was gravely ill - the music industry has lost another great!
Wonder if George Michael was waiting?

There will be a private funeral but this will be preceded by a public viewing.
There is a tribute to her on BBC1 tonight at 9.30pm.
