Re: Are men dirtier than women?

As any politician would say, "That would depend on your definition of 'dirty'", so as regards the video then no for me. I shower and change my underwear everyday, and I also change and launder my bed linen every weekend. I've also heard that a lot of women don't wash their hair everyday, and some products on the market support this.

If I'm not showered and dressed within 30 minutes of getting up I feel icky, so for 99% of the time I am.

Re: Are men dirtier than women?

On a more serious note and maybe it's a generational thing given that male youngers these days take more care of their appearance than those of more senior years ever did, but women did take personal hygiene more seriously, and men were more happy to smell, well like men.

Having said that my old Dad (being ex regular Army) was fastidious when it came to looking after himself. Shaved every day, clean shirt, and trousers pressed to perfection.

Re: Are men dirtier than women?

Even in my youth men who used deodorant/antiperspirant were considered 'suspect'.  I remember a man in his 40s turning to us as a young man went past, and whispering "He wears scent".

It's interesting how easily people are swayed by fashion; a few years ago women considered beards unpleasantly tickly and dirty, preferring clean shaven men with as little body hair as possible.  Nowadays they won't look twice at a man without a beard.  If they were dirty then, are they now suddenly clean?
