Apocalypto

I've just watched Apocalypto on Netflix.
It's a story of the life of a tribe at the end of the Mayan civilisation, directed by Mel Gibson.
Gritty, blood-thirsty and I thought, very well made.

Re: Apocalypto

Yes, had the film a few years now and watched it several times. Great film. First time I watched it I was five minutes into it and nearly turned it off, really glad I didn't.

Re: Apocalypto

If it distorted history as much as Braveheart I don't think I'll bother  Lips are sealed

Re: Apocalypto

Well I can understand your point PeterLoftus but I don't think we watch movies for history lessons?

Re: Apocalypto

When watching Braveheart I was left wondering if Gibson had a Baboons blue behind to match his face.
He certainly has made an ass of himself since.

Re: Apocalypto

Well it's on my 'would watch again' list.
Nice to see the Mayans had a sense of humour Wink
