Given that whoever did it clearly avoided the nose and eyes the only effect was a hair dye job I don't see it as being particularly cruel.
The result was rather cute -it would just suit a little girl

that is why I said it was stupid - but the cruel bit was that the cat was then dumped!!

I really despise people sometimes I really do.
I can't even be bothered to comment much more on this animal cruelty stuff as I think my views are pretty well known by now.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Dying the cat wasn't cruel, well not unless you think Pet Salons are dens of animal cruelty (rather than dens of stupidity as I do).
And I've read the stories  and apart from some people assuming the cat was dumped, there seems no evidence that the cat was dumped.  Cats roam and people are stupid (see my opening sentence), neither of those means cruelty was involved and this in my view is huge none story.
