The best lakes for weekend walks you can drive to from Manchester

Reminds me I need to visit Bradfield (North Sheffield) again fairly soon. Another great walking area with a couple of reservoirs and 'Our Cow Molly' farm for fantastic ice-cream.

Thanks, link saved for next time I visit relatives in Yorkshire.  Thumbs_Up

Whilst it wouldn't be good for the environment if huge numbers travelled by car (especially gas-guzzlers) from Manchester to some of those locations, I think visiting those more local to wherever people might be staying wouldn't be so bad.  Smiley
