If you check your up time I bet you had a resync at that time. It could be any number of things that caused that but it's very odd that the noise margin went that high after the resync.

nope, just use the kettle; instant coffee is so much quicker, much prefer 'proper' coffee but don't have the time (or the inclination to wait).
