And who drew that big dog (in the sky)!

I've just been out to put some rubbish out and I noticed a cluster of stars the resemble the PN dog from the adverts! You can see it to the West I don't have a camera that could take a picture of it but to me at least it does look like a dog.
And Yes, I know, I need to get out more.

Probably the Orion constellation......masquerading as the Plusnet dog.

I doubt even BT's marketing budget could stretch to providing new constellations.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: And who drew that big dog (in the sky)!

Thanks, that looks like it. I see the 3 stars in the straight line as that of the front of the dogs face. In your picture they're in the center of the image going diagonally from 2 to 8 the rest isn't easy to make out.
I do have a camera somewhere as I was reminded last night I'll see if I can find it for tonight assuming the sky is clear.
iPhone = Oooh!

The 3 stars are Orion's belt.
Draw a line through the stars from right to left and continue it to another bright star...that's Sirius, the Dog Star.

I was appalled how my iPhone fared better than my DSLR but then my DSLR lives on auto or no flash settings  Smiley
