An interesting thought..

I just seen an advert on TV for some console game...
"Stealing from the rich is criminal, stealing from the poor is capitalism".
So very true isn't it.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

From the point of view of both parties it's criminal!

Re: An interesting thought..

If the rich didn't steal from the poor there would be no rich.

Re: An interesting thought..

very few rich people got there buy stealing, most got there through being clever enough to work out that the sheeple act in a herd mentality and if a couple of advertisers and a few celebs are seen with x item then enough non celebs will do the dumb thing and pay over the odds for it, look at the way people rushed to by the iPad when tablets had been around for years and nobody liked them, cheaper options are available yet the majority all took out credit just to get the "in thing" that advertising and celebs told them to get. "here people buy this £250 item for £500 and you can be just like everyone else..... a phenomenon that started with the ipod /I phone and is still going strong, it didn't make since back then and it sure doesn't make sense now but the sheeple are genuinely exhibiting the thick must follow herd mentality seen in lemmings and sheep and where one goes the rest must follow, the clever ones out there take advantage of this and massively overcharge for items thus becoming rich, but its not theft its crass stupidity that's making them rich !
just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you

Re: An interesting thought..

@nanotm. Correct in principle! You don't get rich by running with the heard. You have to think for yourself and do something different, if everyone is doing it it generally it's not going to be a worthwhile paying proposition. Risk is a factor too the heard generally don't want risk so miss out on the opportunities. So take the risk but be prepared to take a loss and change tack if you have taken a wrong route.  Wink

The stock market is one example, the best time to buy is when everyone is selling, according to those who have made lots of money.

How would that statement apply in a communist country ?

Re: An interesting thought..

Is that soviet-chinese-north-korean communism, or actual communism? Grin
If the former, everyone is equal, especially those who are more equal than others who get the more equal share of the more equal riches... Grin
