Amazon's stupid recommendation system

I am used to having books recommended when I have already bought it but this one takes the biscuit

They're all a bit rubbish really. The HMV website is spectacularly bad. I was searching for a really obscure German CD recently. They were sorry that they couldn't find anything and suggested I might enjoy a CD by Rihanna or Take That, or a Harry Potter or Toy Story DVD instead. I'd rather they didn't bother.  Cheesy

Reminds me of the peddlars that used to come round in the 80's with a tray of goods strapped round their necks. Tell them no and then they'd suddenly find something else on the tray to show you in a last ditch attempt to try and sell you something.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!
