Amazon's Grand Tour

I've just watched this and I wasn't disappointed, oddly enough it was quite a bit like of Top Gear!

Re: Amazon's Grand Tour

FWIW Amazon were offering their Prime membership with a £20 discount, but that offer may have expired, I don't know. But if the look ahead at what's coming up was anything to go by, it would be worth the money for that alone.

Re: Amazon's Grand Tour

I'd advise skipping the first 10 mins altogether, as it's just humourless, self congratulatory, promotional BS. The rest of the show was predictable and disappointing IMO. Given the budget I expected more.

I really can't see myself sticking with it for 12 episodes, and I certainly wouldn't recommend subscribing to Prime just for TGT as @Anonymous  suggested....

"Episodes contain product placement" I note.

Nothing new in that I suppose.

I started watching it last night but fell asleep.  Put it straight back on again this morning.  I have to agree that it was awesome.  Looking forward to the next one.

Re: Amazon's Grand Tour

With a reputed £4.5 million on each of 36 planned instalments, I wonder if it will keep up the pace?

Nothing to each of these guys are worth but hey, that's entertainment......... with a bunch of sour grapes. Might give it a go later and see if it's all it's cracked up to be.

Re: Amazon's Grand Tour

I wasn't going to watch it until I read this thread. The trio haven't lost their touch. Enjoyable. I loved their idea of the token American. I wonder from where they got that idea?

Now Zen, but a +Net residue.
