While looking through Amazon to see what I could waste my gift vouchers on I got this (see image) in my recommendations!
What the connection is I have no idea, do you?

Re: Amazon recommendations!

From toilet paper holder to powerline adaptor. Now that's what I call stretching the bounds of connectivity Huh

Re: Amazon recommendations!

Recommended because power line adaptors are about as much use as a bogroll holder when compared to hardwired Gigabit ethernet? Grin

Re: Amazon recommendations!

I am still none the wiser what to do about my powerline networking.
The stupid thing is the computer isn't far from the router - one network cable would easily reach to it... but it would mean it going across a doorway on the floor.... and she won't have that!
I also wanted to put up a CCTV camera outside which would have been dandy using powerline ethernet but with the radiation rumours saying its worse than wifi i'm none the wiser.

Did you ever look for publications on the subject?

Re: Amazon recommendations!

This is very true, I would be inclined to only read academic papers myself, provided of course that the University wasn't funded by any party that had a commercial interest in the results.
The sad thing is you have to take all of this with a pinch of salt, not to much mind, as that's not good for you either!
The only thing you can really do is remove anything and everything that has a perceived effect on health or live with it and take any consequences that comes with it.
