Re: Amazing cliff collapse in Cornwall

If I was walking along the top of that cliff, I don't think I would carry on walking towards the collapse as the people in the video appear to !  Crazy

Re: Amazing cliff collapse in Cornwall

Scary. It brings back memories of a cliff climb I did with a mate down on the Gower in South Wales. 120' in 2 pitches on limestone in Mewslade bay. An interesting climb, though a bit loose. Two months later  after the October storms we walked close to there only to see the climb as a large heap of rocks in the sea.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

The BBC has finally caught up with Oldjim…..I was watching the news with the family this morning (son’s tutor group gets quizzed by his form tutor on the headlines) and on came this; very dramatic indeed

Re: Amazing cliff collapse in Cornwall

I thought that place looked familiar but wasn't sure, turns out that it's very near me so I'm going to avoid going near rock faces for a while Wink
