Huh  Maybe instead of calling the offshoot 'Fibre' it would be better named either 'FTTC' or 'VDSL'  Undecided

Re: Am I seeing a mirage / illusion or..........

They should call it LCTF  Local cabinet terminated fibre
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: Am I seeing a mirage / illusion or..........

but some of it is actually terminated outside a persons home and called FTTK (since they already used c in cabinet they spelled kerb with a k...) and some is FTTN where the node is actually not the local cabinet .....
much safer to stick with the anomalous "fibre" title rather than have 6 different product options, of course fibre is still a type of DSL so it would of been more accurate for them to have titled it VDSL as all fibre products use a version of VDSL......

Where would FTTP go?

Where it already is?  i.e. In the 'Plusnet Trials' section under 'Fibre To The Premises (FTTP)'.
When/if FTTP becomes a fully fledged retail product it could be moved out of that section into 'Help and Support'.
I only made the suggestion because essentially what appears to have happened is the FTTC threads have been moved into their own section ('Fibre'), and previously any threads about FTTP were moved by the Moderators to the FTTP section mentioned above.
Perhaps an announcement about FTTP is imminent?
