The downloads it is then by the sound of it.....
Just be thankful that we don't have to cope with 128k leased lines any more. Grin
EDIT:
WSUS = Windows Software Update Services.
You host it on a server on your network, and it pulls down the relevant updates based upon rules you set.
These updates are then distributed across your LAN, saving each machine from downloading everything individually.
Coupled with Group Policies, you can fully control which updates are applied to machines in your control centrally, rather than having folks end up with updates on their boxes that 'break' stuff.
