Two German Eurofighters sent to intercept a Jet Airways plane today when communications lost because the crew might have misdialled the correct frequency (two digits swapped)..
"The Aviation Herald received information that radio contact with the aircraft had been lost on hand off from Bratislava to Prague Center, a swap of digits is being suspected (the crew tuned 132.980MHz while the correct frequency was 132.890MHz). Germany dispatched two Eurofighter Aircraft when the Boeing 777 entered Germany's Airspace."

Now that really would have been serious!
1. Warn the local sewage works.
2. Warn the neighbours.
3. Issue gas masks/breathing apparatus.
4. Issue decontamination suits.
5. Start evacuation procedure.
