According to this article if “punk was never meant to be nostalgic” then why did he have a collection of memorabilia in the first place!

Nostalgia is not what it used to be that's for sure :wink:
But yes, you make a good point. I do wonder how much of that story is manipulated media though but having said that, if the guy really is burning piles of 'memorabilia' then he's a knob. How much cash could have been raised for one of the more decent charities such as those that support cancer care?
None of it fits, but then Punk was never meant to I guess.

The only people he has made very happy are collectors of punk memorabilia.

Never taken to this visual art malarkey and to be honest, they can set fire to the lot as far as I'm concerned. Andy Warhol and the rest of the 'out of their trollies' mob have a lot to answer for.
